CEE Perspective Supports the Next Generation of Finance Talents

On 15 December 2025, CEE Perspective recognised outstanding students from the BANCAS Master’s Program at The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, marking an important moment for both academic achievement and practical learning.

The winners of the 2025 Finance Master’s Program (BANCAS), Antoniu Giuvelea and Radu Rossetti, were honoured during a small ceremony hosted by CMS Romania. The awards were presented by Associate Professor Raluca Micu, who highlighted the students’ strong performance and their thoughtful approach to the future of finance. Both recipients received a merit scholarship and a copy of A New Ethos in Banking by Rik Coeckelbergh.

The ceremony followed a practical session held earlier that week, where BANCAS students worked in teams on a crowdfunding challenge. Students explored how crowdfunding can be applied to lending, while also supporting projects with genuine social value. The final presentations reflected strong collaboration, clear thinking, and fresh ideas, with one team standing out for a particularly convincing pitch.

For many students, the exercise offered a welcome bridge between theory and practice. Developing ideas, pitching them, and working closely as a team provided skills that are essential beyond the classroom.
